Tea party is like Confederacy - Turlock Letters - Modbee.com

The problem our nation is having now is not between the president and the Republicans, it is between the president and the elected tea party representatives. A very high percentage of these representatives and their constituents believe that Obama is not an American, and-or Obama was elected illegally by voters who were either felons, illegal aliens or not registered to vote.



The tea party people want their country back. Talk to them. They are more than willing to tell you all the misconceptions, lies and half-truths to back up their beliefs. Through lies and fear the tea party has grown, and with financial help from the extreme right wing and the help of Fox News they have become a force. Like their forefathers in the south in 1861 who were willing to go to war and destroy the U.S. government over the issues of secession and the right to own property (slaves), the current tea party is willing to have the United States default, lose Social Security and Medicare, have the stock market crash, all because the tea party must prove to the American people that the White House is no place for an African American.

My response to the letter:

DC wanted to do and end around the constitution and control the states. General Lee knew what was going on. He detested slavery, but chose to fight for the his state of Virginia because he saw what was happening. Slavery was on its way out, but those who were in power, i.e., the bankers, before the Federal Reserve was created, used Lincoln to start the ball rolling. We are seeing the result of the civil war now. If the Confederate States would have defeated the Northern Aggressors, we would still be a rugged individualist nation, were people took care of themselves, and a man would be judged on his character and abilities, and not the color of his skin.

Even MLK understood this, he was a republican, and a pretty conservative one at that.

Update: A Modesto based internet blog site has reported that a pipe bomb was placed in the front yard of Rita's daughters home. The 'pipe bomb' was not active. Several blog based sites have outright said they think that Kari or a family member placed it the day before the bail hearing to 'scare' them. This lie has generated alot of outrage by Elias supporters. Is there anything these people will not say?

Justice for Innocent Sheriff's Detective Kari Abbey VOM writers are VOM Staff? They claim investigative reporting. To what extent? They believe therefore it is? Some of the things that are 'reported' by them are out right fantastical. Building onto a society of conspiracy-theory anit-law trusting peoples' distrust and low self esteem is how these people work. A fake bomb, (is a bomb how), a roid rage killing, and an attempt on the Elias daughter's life? The opinons are based on how Kari looks, with some harsh comments about her family members that are supporting her the same way the Elias family is supporting their view. If this site was truely investigative they would be asking the important questions and not making libel allegations. It's great to be rightous, but it is not great if you're not right. A lie is not right no matter how much you believe in it.

The other morning on The Morning Mayor's radio/blogtalk show, Emerson Drake called some of Kari Abbey's relatives "Big body guards" and saying that "They were intimadating." He the made sure to say her husband was black, and it was her husband's relatives. Just another moronic statement from a pot farmer.

The new bail amount was raised to 1 million. The pretrial has once again been postponed to next month. This is going to be one long process. At this pace it will be years before this case is heard in front of the judge. In essence, this trial has not even started yet.

I saw on your website, John, that you posted a good entry about Carmen re-running. I think you called it "Re-Tread" which was quite appropo. I'll go ahead and wager a guess: Carmen comes in dead last, or gets about 10% of the vote in his 3-way race.



Better yet, let's see if Emerson even weighs in or does anything to help Carmen in his race. I think we can figure that one out... and if anyone can show me where Emerson and his Swamp website have ever contribute to someone's political victory, I'd like to see it.



Emerson's overstated sense of inflated ego trumps his awful taste in fashion.



Will be waiting to see how Emerson spins his worn out buddy's candidacy...

I Am Back

That is right! Get ready for the full force fury of The Boot! I have usually stuck to national, and international topics, but I am now going to focus on my new home town of Modesto, and some of the folks that are wasting tax payer dollars so they can satisfy their own personal needs.



One of these schmucks is Emerson Drake. That's right, the one who was renting a home im a peaceful neighborhood, and was illegally growing pot, placing all who lived there in grave danger. Here is the article that he loves so much.

POLICE FIND MARIJUANA OPERATION: A strong odor led narcotics investigators to northeast Modesto home where they discovered a large indoor marijuana growing operation that had produced about $160,000 worth of dope, Modesto police reported Thursday. Police arrested Emerson Drake, 55, at the home on the 3200 block of Canopy Court. He was booked on suspicion of cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sales and theft of electricity, Lt. Chris Fuzie said. The Modesto police Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Stanislaus Drug Enforcement Agency received information about the strong marijuana odor in the area of Kee Lane and Canopy Court, just east of Roselle Avenue and south of Sylvan Avenue. Fuzie said the investigators checked and could smell the odor for about two blocks in all directions. Police served a search warrant Tuesday with assistance from the Stanislaus County sheriff's Special Team Investigating Narcotics and Gangs. Fuzie said the investigators found the marijuana growing in three bedrooms that contained 97 budding plants with an estimated street value of $100,000 along with about 18 pounds of packaged pot with an estimated street value of $60,000. He said authorities seized the marijuana and the growing equipment worth approximately $20,000. The rental property had been converted into a growing operation. Fuzie said the house contained little more than a bed. The property owner told police he had no idea what was going on in the house and said a property management company was renting the house for him, Fuzie said.
